DESIGN TOOLS FOR DIS | 2015
Developing design thinking tools to help designer-entrepreneurs face the challenges related to the development of design-intensive startups (DIS).
The tools were developed as part of a study that intended to define the traits of design-intensive startups, as a different and peculiar type of ventures compared to tech-based startups. I carried on the study (by case studies analysis, interviews, and Qualitative Comparative Analysis), from which seven main traits of design-intensive startups were identified. For each trait, I co-designed a design thinking tool, in order to help designer-entrepreneurs face the challenges related to new venture development. (Politecnico di Milano)
