Ho.Me | Smart Home | 2016

Ho.Me is a control system and a user mobile interface for smart home appliances and devices, based on the IFTTT technology.

I performed secondary research, designed a smart home control system and its mobile interface, created a UI prototype and co-created a video storytelling. The project was based on an existing system for smart home developed by Telecom Italia. We adjusted the functionalities of the system, designed the user experience and the video storytelling through a user-centered approach. The developed solution considers the point of view of the user in interacting with the system and makes the experience more engaging and accessible. (IxE Design Lab, Politecnico di Milano for TIM).
